In addition to the book, there is a documentation explaining the entire process and justifying every decision. It was divided into three parts: concept, creative process and result.
DAMN,
This book is a visual representation of the album "DAMN." by Kendrick Lamar. It is a project developed for my final thesis of the Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communication, and aims to translate sound into visual matter. Its 212 pages contains graphics and photos for all 14 songs of the album, with the respective QR-codes to the song links, to so achieve a more complete and rounded reading experience. Every chapter, in other words every song, was created individually and accordingly to its theme and atmosphere, without disrupting the overall visual identity of the book. Each spoken or sung word was placed in the book intentionally, with the aim of reproducing, by typographic means, the intensity of the sound.
